Twitch has yet to comment on these reported changes, and they have yet to be implemented. The change comes amid a report via Bloomberg that Twitch may be making changes to the revenue structure, reducing revenue share from 70% to 50%. The agency is also responsible for arranging similar deals with Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo and Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar (via The Verge). Gaming talent agency Loaded was responsible for orchestrating Kabbani’s move from Twitch to YouTube. In a follow-up tweet, Kabbani thanked his fans for the support: “The level of support this announcement has seen is mental. Kabbani has amassed 7.4 million Twitch subscribers over the past six years on the platform and his YouTube channel currently has around 4.5 million subscribers. He is best known for playing Provided and value but moved on to play a variety of games.

Kabbani averages between 2,000 and 4,000 viewers on his Twitch streams and often collaborates with other creators on the platform. In a short video posted to Kabbani’s Twitter and YouTube, he announced that he would now be streaming exclusively on YouTube Gaming. YouTube continues to drive creators away from Twitch, with the former now acquiring the services of Ali “Myth” Kabbani.
